RPM
Revolutions Per Minute, or “R-P-M” in its English pronunciation. This is the meaning behind the brand, which aims to illustrate the mechanical and metallic world of the golden age of automobiles in the 60s and 70s.

Romanticism
Arpiem focuses on an era when the recurring risk of serious or fatal accidents linked to competition gave drivers a chivalrous and romantic dimension, encouraging them to live in the present moment.
A time when private motorcycle racers like the Australian Jack Findlay traveled across Europe in their camper vans to face the likes of Phil Read, Barry Sheene, and Giacomo Agostini on the Continental Circus circuits, hoping to collect the finishing bonuses that would allow them to take part in the next race.

MECHANICAL
An era when the laws of aerodynamics did not create cars that were clones of one another, but instead each possessed a personality reflecting that of its creator.
A universe composed of sounds, smells, shapes, and colors dear to the founder of Arpiem, who is more sensitive to the song of a V12 on the Mulsanne Straight than to the virtues of onboard electronics.

HISTORY
The creation of Arpiem stems from Vincent Repoux’s desire to illustrate these sensations in watch collections characterized by their "racing" and "vintage" colors and finishes.
These collections, all limited and numbered editions, are crafted with the utmost attention to detail and a focus on high-quality components, while remaining accessible to as many people as possible.
This project came to life in 2018 after a professional career of over 35 years primarily dedicated to motor racing (Rothmans Racing, Team Opel France) and professional football (FC Girondins de Bordeaux).
