The beautiful story of the Arpiem logo
At Arpiem, everything is a matter of history and automotive passion. Our logo is no exception to this rule. It is, in fact, directly inspired by that of the Pierre Ferry company.
Pierre Ferry, the father of the minister and philosopher Luc Ferry, belongs to the category of "sorcerers"—a group that includes Amédée Gordini, René Bonnet, Jean Rédélé, and others like Marc Mignotet.

Throughout his life, Pierre Ferry lived for his automotive passion. A true jack-of-all-trades, he was much more than that: passionate about racing, he began by building a significant track record in the 1930s. Wishing to promote his ideas, he designed several small-displacement prototypes starting in 1950. Notable among these is the magnificent 1955 750 Sport Tank, which achieved numerous successes in its 750cc category, first in France in 1956 and then, starting in 1957, in the USA, where it was sold. A singular car distinguished by its advanced aerodynamics.

An immense curiosity for engineering led Pierre Ferry to modify and refine everything possible on many popular engines, the best-known being the Renault 4CV and Dauphine 1093, which built his workshop's reputation.
Arpiem is proud to modestly keep the memory of Pierre Ferry alive with this logo, which the brand uses with the permission of his son.
