The ARPIEM Tribute is a "sporty," vintage, sophisticated, and elegant men's chronograph. Its creator's passion for motorsports is linked above all to emotions: the sounds, shapes, smells, and colors. These are the emotions he sought to capture in the Tribute watch collection, which is equipped with a Swiss quartz movement.

The TJL 2 is a new version of the watch dedicated to the talented and popular driver Jacques Laffite, signed by the driver in a limited series of 600 pieces.

The dial of the TJL2 features the green color of Jacques' helmet; the 6 o'clock index, which commemorates his 6 F1 victories, is highlighted. At the bottom of the dial, the number 176 corresponds to the number of his Grand Prix starts. Note the design of Jacques' helmet inset into the dial. Finally, the driver's signature is engraved on the back of the watch.

THE CASE of the ARPIEM Tribute is made of 316L stainless steel, synonymous with durability and strength. A water resistance of 10 ATM - 100 meters is offered. The crown is made of DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon), a coating renowned for being the most resistant to heat and friction, synonymous with durability.

THE DIAL: the shape of the sub-dials (the "pandas") is inspired by the pressure gauges of 1960s cars. The indices on the main dial represent the graduations of a tachometer.

THE MOVEMENT: the TJL 2 is equipped with the Swiss RONDA Z50 movement.

THE DOMED SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL: this is the highest quality and most durable crystal available on the market. Virtually scratch-resistant (only by diamond), its domed finish gives the watch its "vintage" look.

THE TRIPLE-LAYER DIAL DESIGN gives the ARPIEM an elegant volume, which also recalls the "sandwich" alloy construction of race car chassis before the advent of carbon fiber.

THE TACHYMETER: this has been revisited. Indices are usually arranged irregularly on the bezel. On the ARPIEM, they are placed in the style of diving watches, with the speed given for each 5-second interval on the dial.
